When I logged on about 15-20 minutes ago and went to Aldan to trade, there was this Non-member pig that was saying:
"GIVEAWAY MY DEN! ITEMS ON LIST FOR PROOF! QUITTING AJ!"
I was recently interested in watching scams and trying to help people not get scammed, so I went
Here was the pig's user:
The "giveaway" started out as a normal scam. They told people to trade items to them, accept it, and they would give the items back. Everybody knew it was a scam at first, so nobody traded.
Then there was this arctic wolf. They traded a "purple short wrist" and the pig traded it back. I quickly suspected them of a backup or a friend that was in on it, because they kept trading the pig good items so others would try to trade better items to win (because we're all greedy here :') )
Finally there was 4 people left, including me. The arctic wolf's purple short wrist was still winning, but they had left for some reason. The two other people (the other one was just watching thankfully) started trading, and apparnetly a red short wrist was winning.
I decided to troll the pig. I traded a blue and red short collar and my long black wrist for a necklace, but then I declined the second time after a couple of seconds, so they couldn't say "I didn't see your trade". Then they said "red short wrist still winning".
I bombed them and said, "Why do you need me to accept? You saw the trade. You know what I traded." Their excuse was "well uh sometimes i need to look up what the item is worth occasionally, like promos for example. i don't know what some items are worth." So I responded: "Pfffft. You know rarity. You have a black long and party hat. You know that what I traded is better than a wrist." When they didn't answer I kept bugging them with like: "Do you need to feel the pixels or something? Why must I accept?" They ignored me and kept saying that the red wrist was winning.
While I kept bugging them, one of the others started trading them their short black wrist. The pig gave it back to them, clearly to try to earn their trust (despite what I was trying to prove) The other person traded the pig a blue short collar. Thankfully, the pig was greedy and clearly wanted the black short that the other person was wearing. The pig gave the blue short back, earning back the two trader's trust.
I then got a plug in failure, so I quickly refreshed. I don't think anything happened, because I refreshed quickly. I then jagged the two traders: "Don't trade anymore, I got scammed like this before." The first trader hesitated and finally said they weren't offering anymore after I jagged them. The second trader though didn't listen, since they were winnning with their blue short.
The first trader really wanted to win, so they started trading other stuff as well, but they didn't accept the second time. While they were trading, I jagged them "Pls don't trade your black collar." (I was in a rush bc I didn't want them to get scammed so that's why I said pls)
The first trader had to go, so they begged that their trade that they didn't accept would count (Thankfully they listened to me!!)
The pig kept saying no, clearly trapped because nobody else was trading and they had already traded the second trader their blue short back.
The first trader finally got off just as the pig was about to "give" the items to the second trader. The pig locked us out, but thankfully nobody was scammed.
Even though nobody got scammed, please report Nogifrog for trying to scam. I bet they won't give up just because one of their attempts at scamming didn't work out.
*Don't report the arctic wolf, since it is not CONFIRMED that they were a backup/in on it.*
