If for some reason I draw, which I don’t often, I use a dull pencil. Very unpopular opinion but those are better. Don’t come for me LMAO

^I like dull pencils too :D they’re easier to sketch and shade with and add shape/personality imo

I usually use sharper ones for small details and if I’m going over lineart or something

dulled normal pencils are better for shading and coloring large areas, but they just kinda annoy me because i can't get details with them. trying to get an even color on a big space is super tedious and difficult using mechanical pencils but i still do it lol

I mostly use mechanical, which is great for detail, but when needed I'll use a regular for shading and such.
