I myself don't have any decent tools to use, i used line paper and a pencil to do traditional art and use ibispaint on a phone that was released 8 years ago for digital art. What i'm trying to say is you don't need "good" tools to be good at art :) Always work with what you have, its easier to improve that way tbh

Some people are better on digital than traditional and vice versa, I have steady fingers because I did a lot of traditional art before so my hand is pretty firm lol

That's not true! Traditional art has its own world of respect. Most people only prefer digital art because of how clean it is, but traditional art can be just as clean

I always wanted a tablet but my parents are pretty stubborn. I know its frustrating not having the materials you need, but sometimes it can't be helped

Thanks for your motivation, I just wish I could actually win even 3rd place for any kind of art con but because of lighting and stuff it always looks super uncleaned to people’s nice digital version

Keep on drawing and practicing, but make sure to take breaks whether it be a day or a month, you will definitely see the improvement :)

It depends on the tools, but A better drawing tablet or more expensive pens won’t improve your art, sure it will give you the possibilities to improve in different aspects but the tools themselves won’t make you better. I understand your struggles though ❤️
