Typically den beta worths are less than what demand will take, a black short and orange long are worth the same in practice, yet people will only take a black short for an orange long if you add a few dbs. Think of it like this, demand is the real controller of worth, spike’s worth are measured in dbs because its the basic unit for most items. Spike’s demand is higher than it’s worth because people also use it to trade. Due to its higher demand, items that are “worth” the same are in practice “worth” less because people know it will be harder to trade that item for the same amount as a spike would. Walls and floors are especially low in demand, so while they are worth a den beta or more, their demand is less than a spikes. That’s why the floor that’s worth a decent long wrist in pure den betas, is only actually worth a bad long wrist. Demand, Rarity, and Worth is kinda complicated lmao.
