Option 1 - Swap the order of Blue and Pink longs, change Blue to a Decent long and Pink to a Good long
Option 2 - Keep the current order, change Pink to a Good long
Option 3 - Keep the current order, change Blue to a Decent long
Option 4 - No change/Leave order and labels as it currently is
In May of last year, we conducted a poll in our Discord server with the following question: Do you think that blue spikes (both collars and wrists) should be reclassified from "good" to "decent"?"
While the poll did end up in favor of this change, our content mod team felt that the number of votes in favor were not high enough to enact a change, and blue spikes were kept as good.
Since the poll was hosted in May, blue long collars and pink long collars have gradually shifted from becoming closer in worth, to equal, to pink long collars (currently listed as decent) actually being ahead of blue (currently listed as good). It has become apparent that the discussion must be reopened, and that this time, it shouldn't solely involve blue longs.
As such, we are hosting another poll to ask the community what you think, if anything, should happen in regards to blue and pink long collars.
"Only long collars? Not shorts or wrists?"
Yes. The poll and its results will only affect pink and blue long collars, as those are the only spikes where a potential change would be beneficial. In the event of changes being necessary to other spikes in the future, another poll may be opened relating to those.
“Why is this happening again? I thought we already voted."
At the time of the initial poll, the discussion was solely about lowering blue spikes to decent. At this point in time, blue and pink longs have shifted in worth so substantially that the discussion is now about both of them; this is not a rehash of the same poll that was hosted in May.
"Last time, people voted in favor of changing blue to decent, but it was not changed because the threshold was not met. Will the same happen here?”
We are looking for a specific number to be met in order to enact a change. To prevent potential gaming of the poll, we are once again not going to publicly state the threshold we are looking to see.
