I only recently came back to the game (stopped playing in 2015), and I've noticed the community there doesn't seem as welcoming as it once was.
I've been called a scammer because I tried to explain that a shelf was worth at most a den beta, as was a giant rhino plushie. The other person insisted that the plushie was worth two, called me a scammer and locked me out.
People seem quick to assume that anyone is a scammer nowadays, and I know it's for good reason, but still, at times it seems really unnecessary.
I think the problem is with the game itself though, with rare and valuable items, people will inevitably go to any lengths to get a "rare" item.
Nat Geo still has to make money though, for the game to keep going, and the only way for them to do that is to put some items and features behind a paywall, which leads to inequality among players.
Thoughts, anyone?
