I didn't know you played DnD! I tried to learn some in high school but it still confuses me so much lol

Hehehehh don't get me started on outlast my brain is already rotted too much from it

I love it a lot for its amazing lore and scares, though it’s pretty extreme in terms of themes. the main game is about an investigative journalist Miles Upshur going to this asylum for the criminally insane because one of the employees there, Waylon Park, wrote him an email telling him about all the human rights violations occurring. When Miles arrives, the patients have overrun the facility, but he still goes in to get the story. And yea, he basically witnesses a lot of bad things.

The DLC of Outlast is called Whistleblower, and follows Waylon Park’s side of the story. Whistleblower is cool because the villains are very interesting and when you play it after Outlast you can see all the little Easter Eggs from the first game.

There’s also Outlast 2, the sequel, which i think is a great horror game still but personally not as good as the first one and the DLC. And there’s Outlast Trials, which is a multiplayer co-op game and is basically a prequel to the first game. I recommend it to anyone who love a good scare and a good story, but some of the thing that occur are very genuinely upsetting so I would warn you about that. Oh and fun fact it's actually based on a real event where the CIA did illegal human experiments under a secret project called Project MK Ultra back during the Cold War.
