People already explained it, but its because people hoarded SO many pink longs and since ajc crew removed them from adventures, theres such a shortage with pink shorts right now. thats why the value increased. and this is currently happening to other rares, like if im not wrong the blue tiki mask and i think people are starting to hoard golden founders hat. don't take my work for it tho since i kind of saw a glimpse of the hoarding problem in animal jam.
