Yeah I was basing it on attempts from a year or so ago (whenever it released probably) was trying to make a point that there aren't many recent attempts but worded it badly😔

Someone who works as a failsafe in a risky trade, such as crosstrading or trading items over the number limit for a single item.
A middleman *should* be a trustworthy person of the community. A crosstrade would go like this:
1) both parties trade their items to the middleman. Let's say it's a solid and 7k sapphires. The middleman would be given the solid in AJC, and given the sapphs in AJPW.
2) Now one singular person is in the possession of the items. The middleman makes sure they have recieved the correct items for the trade. This is where it is ensured that the trade is being done fairly and as promised.
3) Once all correct items have been traded over, the middleman now sends the solid to the recipient in AJC and the sapphs to the recipient in AJPW.
So it's just a complicated trade with extra steps to make sure nobody is scammed. So instead of trading your solid over and risking the person never paying you the sapphires, the middleman makes sure both get their side of the trade. If someone runs, the middleman just gives the items back.
You also want to make sure the middleman is an actually trustworthy person, because there are cases where the middleman just runs with all the items.

I'm trying to build up worth, and the thing that's worked for me so far is giveaways and contests. People hold fashion shows and you can usually find a couple throughout the day. Lots of AJ youtubers hold giveaways on their livestreams. AJHQ and jambassadors hold contests on Instagram all the time, so I join those as well! They're not sure ways to get worth, but I've gotten a decent amount of stuff from fashion shows.
Another great idea I saw someone suggest was running adventures for people. Collecting adventure prizes and trading them in for higher items, I've seen people pay LOTS for items they want in adventures! I... have as well. So it's definitely an option.
btw I will accept pet swaps as long as it's of equal worth!!!
