Overview
It is up to the Staff team to vote on whether or not you should get promoted. Doing good and useful edits as well as giving reports on a Staff member's message wall is a good way to build trust. Having access to our Discord server is a requirement because it is a great place for us to get to know you better and know if you would be a good candidate for the job.
How to Submit
To submit an application, leave a message on a staff member's wall in this format. Make sure you fulfill the requirements below before you apply:
1. Position applying for:
2. Animal Jam Username:
3. Discord Tag (case sensitive):
4. Wiki User (case sensitive):
5. AJ related social medias (if applicable):
6. Why you would be a good candidate for the position:
Fill out below as well, only if you are applying for Content moderator.
7. How active are you with trading? What items do you have experience trading?
8. Please provide a photo of your best items so we can confirm your worth.
Requirements
Notice: If your application is rejected, you must wait at least 1 month to reapply.
Discord Server Moderator: DSMs help moderate the Discord server and verify new users. They can mute, kick or ban misbehaving users. DSMs cannot participate in item worth-related votes.
- Level 30+ with MEE6 on the Discord Server
- Must have and be active on the Discord Server
- No major infractions or punishment in the past year
Status: Open
Discussions Moderator: Discussions Mods help by managing the Forums and Comments on the Wiki, and are able to warn users and delete comments. They cannot participate in worth-related votes.
- Must have Discord
- Must have and be active for at least 3 months on the Wiki
- No major infractions or punishment in the past year
- Must have at least a total of 1000 edits and posts together on the Wiki
Status: Open
Content Moderator: Content Mods help with changing the worth of items on the Wiki, after discussing it with other staff.
- Must have Discord
- Active with trading with a variety of items and have 200 worth on AJ ( when applying, send in proof via files in the form. (Be sure to include evidence the items are yours by showing a username in the screenshot. )
- Good reputation within the AJ community
Status: Open
Custodian: Custodians have the rights of all three lower positions (including their requirements): Content Moderator, Discussions Moderator, and Discord Moderator. Further requirements are listed:
- Currently or formerly an AJIWW staff member
- At least 8 Months on the Wiki
- Actively moderating on both the Wiki and Discord
Status: Open
Administrator: Admins have the rights of all three lower positions (including their requirements): Content Moderator, Discussions Moderator, and Discord Moderator. They are also able to ban/block misbehaving users on the Wiki, and require initiative needed to assist in leading the staff team. Further requirements are listed:
- Currently or formerly an AJIWW staff member
- At least 10 Months on the Wiki
- Actively moderating on both the Wiki and Discord
Bureaucrat: Bcrats have all the rights of Admins, including their requirements. They have the added permission of being able to grant other users rights, although this will only happen when a user has been voted into said position.
- Currently or formerly an AJIWW staff member
- Have been an active Admin for at least 3 months
- At least 1 year on the Wiki
- Proven their trust
