The Rare Carousel Hat was first released on June 13, 2013. It was formerly sold at the Summer Carnival. In May 2017, the original versions were given rare tags and were officially discontinued as they cannot be obtained in adventures. They were replaced in the Summer Carnival by the non-rare Carousel Hat, which returns every year.
